Description
We wanted something bright for the baby's room. I just kept throwing different colours in there, but they all seem to work somehow. We noticed that there was an unintentional woodland theme developing in the prints and pillow and drapery fabric, so we just kind of went with it. It is a very cheery room.
Design Inspiration
The paint colour that was already on the walls is Pale Powder by Farrow and Ball. I really liked the colour, and didn't want to repaint it. We added the white stripes for some interest. The next thing I bought was the green Ikea crib. A bit wacky, but you only use a crib for a couple of years, so why not, right? I love the pop of colour it adds to the room!
Decorating Style
Eclectic. If I love it, I use it. I try not to be too matchy-matchy.

Probably the rug and the crib. I also LOVE the dresser which is vintage and snagged from a consignment shop. It was lovingly sanded and painted by my husband in "Egg Yolk" by Martha Stewart.
