We didn’t want the typical pink nursery for our baby girl so we painted the walls a soft seafoam green and used lavender and white as the main colors. We opted for a more sophisticated, contemporary room that would transition with her as she grows.

I hope you love the room as much as I do!  I love getting feedback (as long as it’s constructive!) so please feel free to leave your comments and let me know what you think!

Such a sweet room! Lilac is a great color for the nursery.

Where is the bedding set from?

Thank you Lara80!  The bedding is from Target.  It’s the Lily collection by Bananafish.

Thank you Ken!  I’m pretty happy with the wall color as well… we actually painted before we knew what we were having so I love that it’s a gender nuetral color.

I must agree with the colors you’ve used here.  It’s not common to have green, lavender and white for a baby girl’s room, but it works!  I think you’re lucky that you’ve painted without knowing the gender yet, and got this room :)  I love it!

Hi Mom2B1210:  Thanks for the reply.  Going with a gender neutral color could be a pain in my opinion because your decors could go both ways!  It’s December now, how are you and how are you holding the excitement in???
