Bright & Cheery Baby Girl Nursery

I wanted something bright, cheery, and non-traditional (aka "pink") for my daughter's nursery.

Design Inspiration

Heather Bailey's Nicey Jane fabrics were just what I was looking for!  My sister lovingly created the crib bumpers, bed skirt, curtains, and valance.

Decorating Style

Traditional with a hint of retro flair.

Project Details

Valspar Paint Colors: Fruit Compote (yellow) & Green Tea (green)

Heather Bailey fabrics:

Curtain tie-backs (originally sold in blue):

Blue sheets/changing pad cover: Summer Infant in Mineral

Mirror and Frames: IKEA

Favorite Items

I love, love, love the textiles.  They're like bright, cheery retro aprons from the 50's!

The key to achieving PERFECT stripes is the right tape.  Blue painter's tape does NOT cut it.  It is worth the extra bucks to use Frog Tape:

We also used a laser level to get straight lines.

Love it! I am probably going to go with this color scheme for a gender-neutral nursery. :)
