A bright and fun nursery for our boy/girl twins. :)
Design Inspiration
I found the prints for above the cribs first and built from there. Keeping to a color scheme of orange, aqua and hot pink. Wanted a cheerful yet serene feeling for the room.

Advice
Build around an item or a few items that you really love. Put your heart into your design and it will shine through in the feel of the finished room. I like to think my twins sleep so well in their room because of all the love I put into making it a peaceful, happy space for them.
Congratulations! The mini cribs were perfect for us. Our twins were in them until they were 3 years old then we moved them to toddler beds.
I see your twins were born in 2011 – how did you like the mini cribs? How long were they able to stay in the cribs, and did they convert well into toddler beds? I have b/g twins due in September and have mini cribs on my mind for a small-ish nursery.
Ashley, These two prints are from my shop Nella Designs. You can find them here:

What Etsy shop did you buy the sugar spice/snips snails prints from?
Could you provide the info on the cribs; dimensions and place you bought them
What a beautiful nursery and a safe one at that. I love seeing the cribs without anything but a fitted sheet. Your nursery is proof that you don’t need all the unecessary stuff in the crib, such as bumpers, quilts, pillows, and toys that are unsafe. For other people’s reference check out the information at http://www.nichd.nih.gov/publications/pubs/safe_sleep_gen.cfm to find out how to create a safe environment for baby’s sleep.
LOVE the zig zag!!!!!
Cool prints. I like that there’s a girl-and-boy version. The round rug is really lovely, too.
I love the pops of color you used. And, the nice calming gray on the wall. Very nice and calming nursery. Great job.
