When we found out we were having a little girl, I had true tears of joy. My fiancé has a family full of boys, and I come from a family full of boys so this little girl is such a blessing! As excited as I am for a girl, I did not want the typical pink, girly nursery. I wanted this nursery to be very special, after all this is her first space in our home. I wanted something relaxing, tranquil, with excellent energy. I wanted this to be a space for her to grow, and mom and dad to relax. I wanted to incorporate both my fiancé and my style, as well as make it nursery appropriate. I spent a lot of time doing research on budget friendly furniture and decorations. I incorporated pieces of furniture and rugs I already owned- timeless pieces you can switch up. And who know with pregnancy came with a terrible case of indecisiveness. I made many trips to Home Goods, usually buying whatever I liked, and returning what I didn't love. Her room has a little piece of me and her daddy and I hope she loves it as much as we do.
