We planned this room around some key vintage pieces that brought some love and family history to the room. The changing table and book shelf piece are actually the buffet and china cabinet that my husband’s grandmother gave to him for his dining room, when he bought his home (before we met). We had them painted white to give them a fresh look. The vintage alphabet Hermès scarf was another piece my friend Malena Martinez sold to us- she has impeccable taste and a charming on line and brick and mortar vintage shop (Malena’s Boutique) full of curated pieces in our hometown of West Chester, PA. Once I knew the basic furniture and the art- the rest of the pieces fell into place from there. I found the crib on jet.com for just $250. The peonies on the accent wall are decals from urban walls (@urbanwalls on insta). The ceiling light is actually an Anderson (remote controlled!) indoor/outdoor fan with dimming LED lights from Home Depot. The blush linen pink pillows were a custom order from my friend Krystal at Old Soul Decor in West Chester, PA. Most of the stuffed animals are Jellycat, which I’ll admit I’m a little obsessed with (clearly). Various other items are homegoods and target clearance finds that I picked up, while nesting over the last six months. I wanted a room that could grow with our daughter and that had whimsical, warm, fuzzy charm. The result brings me such joy, and My husband Tony and I cannot wait to share it with our beautiful baby girl once she arrives!!
