since this is our last baby i knew i wanted something fun and bright for his 1st birthday i worked long hours and stayed up many nights to creat the "perfect" party for him.
everything was handmade, all the desserts and paper items were designed, made and hours of cutting lol
the party was planned as an outside event but the day of the party it was very cold and we had to re plan and decide on short notice how things were going to work inside... made for a very hectic morning changing what i had worked so many hours to plan ... but it turned out amazing =)

the cupcake picks were so cute! and the marshmellow sticks i loved them! they were a big hit with the kids

Weather always takes a shot at ruining party plans. But I am glad everything worked well for you and the little guy. And I always admire moms who can whip up a fun party with almost everything DIY.
