Blue and White Big Boy Room

Description

This room was designed for Borden when his family was moving into a new house.  It was time for him to move into a "big boy" room and he needed a special space all his own in his family's new house.

Design Inspiration

We wanted to design something that worked for a little boy, but that he could also grow into.  The rest of the house is beautiful and Borden's room needed to work for him, but also flow with the rest of the house.  The bunk beds allow for lots of fun play space on the floor for Borden and his little sister and brother!

Decorating Style

Hip traditional.  Clean and classic with punches of color.

Project Details

Furniture is from Young America.  Bed quilts from Serena & Lily.

Favorite Items

The window treatments make the room complete!  Borden might like the bunk beds the best!

Advice

Incorporate the child's favorite colors and items.  Borden loves Carolina Blue, so we used that throughout the room.   He also loves his dog (pictured) so we included some really cute dog bookends for his dresser that look like his dog!
