My baby turned one! We celebrated with a summer party full of fun, bright colors, yummy treats, family and friends.
Design Inspiration
I was inspired by an orang tile print pillow I have. I thought turquoise would be the perfect color to compliment - perfect for summer.
Decorating Style
Contemporary. I tend to like more neutral colors with pops of bright mixed in.
Project Details
I planned my baby's party over the course of 4 months. A lot of late nights on the internet. I found a lot of things at etsy, Target, and Party City.
Favorite Items
I loved the welcome wreath I made for the front door as well as the little orange tile print boxes. I found them at Target. I added a little embellishment and voila! They were perfect for flowers, utensils and straws.
Advice
Start early! Also, don't be afraid to deviate from the more traditional "girl" colors.
