The wooden molding and all the sentimental elements. . .

Adeline’s chandelier used to be in my room growing up (I bribed my parents into letting me take it). The bunting hanging on the wall was my first attempt on a sewing machine, I made them for Adeline’s “pretty in pink” first birthday party. The canvas prints of Adeline as an infant were a gift from James on my first Mother’s Day. The “PRAY” print below them was created by me as a daily reminder that she is never alone, Philippians 4:6-7 is printed on it.  And that humongous, precious pink puppy is Penelope . . you can read all about her here.

 

This room was created with a whole lot of love for the first little girl that stole our hearts. And by the way, we had no problems transitioning to “big girl bed” at 2 years of age – she loved it! (but who wouldn’t with the plushest, comfiest bed in the house! :)
