When we found out we were having our second boy, I embraced the blues and grays and greens I was hesitant to use the first time. Somewhere along the way I noticed that all the accessories were animal or map related (or both in some instances!).
My starting point was two rugs: Dash and Albert's Seaboard Stripe and Serena and Lily's Navy Deco rug. I went with Deco rug, and brought in the Seaboard Stripe in the fabrics, from D&A's sister company.
Note - images 1 and 2 (the good ones, ha ha) are from our newborn photos, Amanda Holbrook Photography
Fabric for drapes and crib skirt - Seaboard Stripe, Pinecone Hill
Rug - Serena and Lily's Navy Deco
Crib - Bratt Decor
Crib sheet - Bamboo Trellis in Indigo, Annette Tatum
Glider and slipcover - Serena and Lily
Green knitted pouf - CB2
Changing pad and topper in cobalt - Olio
Antelope bust - Anthropologie
Artwork - Etsy (Rachel Austin, Studio Tuesday, and Sycamore Street Press)
Origami map spheres - Etsy, Elizabeth St
I love the oversized blue pom trim that I added, and the no sew crib skirt that I made with my husband's help. But Bennett loves the origami spheres - they sway with the fan, and are mesmerizing to him!
