Description
Our project is a little boys nursery for our lovely son Ben. We wanted something that would work well with the rest of our interior, and something that would grow with Ben for the first few years. The entire project can be read about on our blog The A&B Stories
Design Inspiration
Our house is basically filled with various shades of grey, and so we wanted to use that as our inspiration since we love it so much. We chose this soft blue/grey and it worked beautifully. We wanted white, modern furniture that could be used down the road in other rooms, so that when he's older he can redo his room as he chooses (with Mom's help of course, ha ha). And we didn't want any sort of obvious theme of course.
Decorating Style
We lean towards modern classic furniture, and neutral, airy walls.

Advice
I think it's really important to see past the baby phase and realize that your little one won't be little for very long. I can picture Benjamin playing in this room, rolling around on the carpet, for years to come.

Love this nursery. It is simple, beautiful, perfection. :)
I was also wondering where you got the frames for the posters above the crib?
Thanks,
Erika
I’m having my baby in April. Your room is exactly what I had imagined for our son. Thank you!!!
Gorgeous room! I love your work!
We LOVE your room – and have used it as the inspiration for our baby room! LOVE the Vintage Posters website and just ordered 3 similar for our soon-to-be-born son’s room. I have a question – where did you get the frames for them? I am looking to do the same… any help much appreciated! Thank you!
I love the clean lines and the non-cluttered look of this room. I think white makes the perfect color choice for any nursery. And I love the little pops of colors here and there.
Someone I work with visits your site quite often and recommended it to me to read too. The writing style is excellent and the content is interesting. Thanks for the insight you provide the readers!
Beautiful room! I love the wall colour! The prints above the crib and mobile are cool choices too.
Very clean, relaxing and soothing to the eyes. I particularly like the black and white picture mobile. It’s very appropriate for newborns.
