Description
We started Nicholas room when I was 7 months pregnant with him. All we knew then was that I wanted a nursery with stripes. The room required a lot of work. We had four drywalls which required sealed and prime. My husband did all the manual labor. I was busy going thru the millions on pins on pinterest trying to find inspirations/ideas and making them my own and unique. The project took us about 2 months to complete.
Design Inspiration
We wanted to create a modern space using traditional baby blue boy colors.
Decorating Style
Modern, fresh and clean cut in appearance. Very budget friendly project.

Favorite Items
I absolutely love the entire room. However my favorite item is the light fixture we bought at Lowes. It was $24 which was a great value and it put together the whole room. It was my wow piece.
Advice
All of Nicholas nursery items were purchased local at stores that have nationwide chains. Most items can be ordered online.
I love the blue and white colors with stars. It’s dreamy and magical and very relaxing.
Thank you. I wanted to create a nursery that wouldn’t break the bank.
