Description
Gender neutral for our first mystery baby
Design Inspiration
The bedding was handed down to us and we built the theme and color scheme from there. :) Plus, I love elephants- they're my favorite!
Decorating Style
Eclectic style with whimsy
Project Details
The final detail (pictures to come) is the alphabet wall- each letter of the alphabet in different colors, fonts, and textures found in thrift stores, etsy, and handmade.
Favorite Items
I love the way our Ikea shelf turned out and the way the nursing corner came together with the rocker we found on craigslist.com.
Advice
Think outside of the box and pick up random little items that match the look you're going for whenever you see something unique!

I like that you used soft tones in this room. Soft tones are very relaxing and calming. But you certainly did a great job infusing touches of bright red in there!

Simple yet pretty little room. I had to laugh at the "Moo, Baa, Lala" book. My little one's got a book like that and it's his fave. He asks me to read it to him every single night!

It was a hand-me-down from my sister-in-law. :) I'm not sure how old it is, but I love it! Matching the wood stain was hard which is why the only other wood item in the room is the dresser. It was simpler to go with painted Ikea furniture and a white rocker for the rest. Thank you!

Your crib is a beauty. Is it thrifted too? It's a great find I'd say. It looks traditional and old-fashioned, and that makes it charming.
