Project Details
Firstly, my husband did a LOT of work on updating this room (our home was built in '78 and there wasn't a lot of updating done since) He painted and installed new moldings and closet doors, he even put the lovely trim around the window, closet and door frame. He painted the walls and the ceiling and of course put together all the furniture.
The chandelier is from Ikea but we had to alter it because it hung way too low with our low ceiling - hubby would walk into it. we bought a kit to fit it from Canadian Tire with the help of a tutorial found online.
The tissue poms were purchased on Etsy from Sweet Tea Paper http://www.etsy.com/people/SweetTeaPaper
The mobile hanging below the poms is hand made, i purchased some "floral embellishments" from Michaels and used a hot glue gun to affix them to some fishing line which i hung from a small craft hoop. i used some ribbon to hang it. I used a combination of different tutorials online but mostly winged it.

Crib http://www.statusfurniture.com/products/convertible-cribs/montrose-convertible-crib-2/
I made the framed fabric circles using scraps from a local fabric store, doilies and embroidery hoops found at Value Village. I just used a glue gun to hold the fabric in place and trimmed off the excess fabric. We used a picture hanging kit to hang the hoops. I got the idea off of pinterest.
A lot of the nick-knacks are vintage/hand-me-downs or things i already had laying around :)
Favorite Items
my favorite item is the collection of fabric circles in embroidery hoops.
Advice
A lot of it was pulled together a little bit at a time. Also, don't worry too much about things matching exactly. If you're not sure what you want to do get on pinterest!
