Design Inspiration

We originally wanted to have a primarily neutral nursery with clean lines that our baby could grown into and we could update easily over the years to come.  In choosing the tree wall decal we opted for a "pop" of color so we decided on pink leaves since we knew we were having a baby girl.  We didn't anticipate how pink the wall would turn out so the room became a bit more feminine than we had originally planned.

Favorite Items

My husband and I found out we were pregnant on the first day of our 10 day trip to France last year over Thanksgiving.  Before coming home we bought a baby shirt that said "Nice, France" and booties that we wrapped around a wine bottle which we typically bring back for family when traveling.  We gave the bottle wrapped in the shirt to family and that is how they found out we were expecting.

The shirt and booties are framed in a shadow box and placed above the closet in the nursery.
