Description
Baby Girl's Nursery in red , black, white & gray. We created this for the non-traditional people like us who just are not the biggest fans of pink. It's amazing how much is out there for baby girls' nurseries that is only in pinks, pastels and purples. We hope you enjoy the pictures, and it helps those looking for something different for their little girls!
Design Inspiration
We love red, black & white. We are not into the the traditional pastels & pinks of the usual little girl's nurseries. We wanted it to be bright and fun, with a bit of whimsy in a contemporary style that could be transitioned as Isabella ages.
Decorating Style
We wanted to make sure that the nursery is full of items that can grow with our daughter as she ages. With red being the accent to the black furniture, it offers us the opportunity to change the accent color as she desires when she is older, and yet provides a bright engaging environment for her as an infant. Our home is consistently contemporary, and we wanted her room to have a similar feel.

Favorite Items
Our favorite items are the personalized wall art we created. We took velum scrapbook sayings, quotes etc, and mounted them inside black frames with alternating red/white or white/black matting and various gray, black and white scrapbook page backgrounds. As she grows we can change out the saying for black and white pictures or different quotes. I think it really added a special personal touch.
Advice
You can add a lot of special little touches without spending a fortune by keeping your eyes open at craft & specialty stores. When you see something that fits with your theme, it can just add that little touch that makes the nursery really feel perfect.

Again well done on a fab room!!
Thanks Milk…Good luck with your nursery. I found the quotes in books in a craft store.
Here are the quotes in each of the frames:
Sweet Dreams
A daughter is gift of love
If I could, I would give you all the love in the world
Princess in training
Daddy’s Girl
So Many Toys So Little Time
Families are like fudge…mostly sweet with a few nuts
A dughter is the happy memories of the past, the joyful moments of the present, and the hope and promise of the future
A mother’s arms are made of tenderness and children sleep soundly in them
I Adore this nursery.
Can you please tell me what the quotes are on your wall art. Its a fantastic idea and I hope you dont mind if I copy your idea.
I love the name you have chosen for your little one.
Also the box for her books are a great idea!
Well done and thanks for sharing
Thanks so much for the compliments. It was my absolute pleasure setting this up, and if there is anything I can do to help anyone, please let me know. We nonpink people need to look out for each other.
I think your baby’s eyesight also gets developed faster using these colors :) thank you for sharing your sources, I think that it would be valuable for those who really don’t like pink and pastels for their nurseries!
It must have been a headache trying to find pieces for this! And I must tell you, it’s a great nursery! LOVE EVERY LITTLE THING ABOUT IT!
