My husband and I didn't really have a theme, we just pulled together different things we liked. I love how it turned out!
Design Inspiration
This website was a huge inspiration. I love the chevron print and birds, so we wanted to incorporate those in the room.
Decorating Style
Simple and whimsy.
Project Details
Nursery furniture: Babies R Us
Tree decal: Etsy
String lights: Target
Letters above the crib: bought at Micheal's Craft Store
Birds hanging on the wall: wooden birds bought at Micheal's, I traced the shape onto scrapbook paper, cut it out, and used all purpose glue and Mod Podge to seal it over the wood.
Bow holder: same as the birds.
"sunshine" canvas: bought at Home Goods
Pink chair: bought at Home Goods
Chevron curtains: white cotton curtain panels were bought at Target. I used regular latex paint from Lowes and several online tutorials to paint the chevron pattern.
Favorite Items
The chevron curtains are by far my favorite item in this room. It took forever to measure, tape, and paint them, but I love how they turned out!

Nice curtains. I wouldn't be able to tell that you painted the chevron pattern if you didn't say it. I think the "You are My Sunshine" artwork is really beautiful. It really captures what it's all about and puts a smile on the face.
