Baby Cameron’s Nursery!

Description

Vintage/Modern Owl inspired nursery!

Design Inspiration

I love owls and love vintage/modern mixes. I didn't want her room to be overly girly.

Project Details

I took some older pieces of furniture, mixed them with newer items, and made all the artwork and mobile with my husband. We spent $600 total on this room, including the crib. I love the way it came together! We went to Michael's several times! The frames were raw wood. We spray painted them and shelacked the owl prints I found online. I bought various types of ribbon to hang them around her room. The backing on the letters above her name are just different sheets of scrapebooking paper. The dresser was my father in-laws college furniture. It was to tall so we replaced the legs with shorter, rounder legs from Home Depot. The window seat is my favorite furniture piece. It is a Martha Stewart piece from Home Depot. It fits perfectly and offers additional storage!

Hello,

Nursery is very cute and closet is fantastic. Where did you find the picture of the praying girl with the kittens? I had that when I was young and would love to put it in my daughters room! Yours looks like its on a mirror, mine was not.

Thanks so much.
