Description
Soft, sweet, feminine baby girl's nursery
Design Inspiration
We started with a very basic builder-beige guest bedroom. We decided to add board and batten and crown molding to add some interest to the space. Once I settled on a gray, pink and white color scheme, things started to fall into place from there.
Decorating Style
My overall decorating style is contemporary, traditional, with some coastal/nautical touches.

Favorite Items
My favorite items are the bedding and curtains. It was really important to me to get just the right shades of pink, so I splurged a bit on these items and they're absolutely perfect.
Advice
My advice is to take your time when looking for just the right pieces. If you rush to get everything done by the second trimester, you'll probably end up settling for some things you're not totally in love with. Take your time and the pieces will fall into place. This also applies to getting the best prices - if you're patient you can catch the rare sale from places like Serena & Lily and RH Baby & Child.

This room is so adorable. I have a little girl on the way, due in August and using this pic for inspiration as I decorate! I am having the white wainscoting/trim/paneling whatever you’d like to call it, done this week. My only challenge is that I’d love also to get white furniture but I’m wondering if the white on white is going to look ok. Our trim color isn’t a true white. The white furniture is typically pretty white though. Did you run into this or did you match the white on the wall with the furniture? Would love your feedback on how this looks in person if the shade of white doesn’t match exactly of if you can even tell. Thanks!
lovely pictures!

How is the Kristaller chandelier as far as lighting goes? Does it brighten the room up enough? I am thinking about purchasing it from Ikea but am not sure because our nursery is small with only one window, so there isn’t a lot of natural light coming in.
Love the curtain holdbacks! I went online to look for them on Bed Bath and Beyond and can’t find them. Do you have the receipt or remember the brand or
name?
Did she ever let you know what color of fabric for the chair?
Beautiful Nursery! What are the dimensions of your windows and what length drapes did you get?
What is an “ava”?
Love the room!! What color white did you use for the molding/trim??
What brand are the curtain holdbacks from bed bath and beyond? I loved the room so much that I am modeling my nursery after it!
What fabric color is the used for the chair? It’s a great neutral color.
Love this room! I have been eyeing the Serena and Lily bedding for a while! Quick question: where did you get your changing pad cover?
The colors of the dresser and the crib look great together in the photos, but how close are they in reality? We have the Kendall simply white crib and are still trying to pick a dresser. Thanks!
Your nursery is amazing. The colors you used is exactly how I have envisioned my daughters room who is due on January 25. My husband loved it as well. Soft, beautiful and absolutely elegant.
these grey walls are perfect, love the color. love the overall softness of this room, you did a great job. and i agree with your tip on waiting till you find the right pieces for your budget.
Love! I love how clean and fresh your nursery is. The grey walls work perfectly :)
Beautiful! So soft, feminine and clean looking. I have to admit…I don’t like gray walls for a baby’s room unless it is light…but this looks beautiful and bright with the white batten board on the bottom. Love the crib bedding also. Very sweet and simple!
Awww, nothing more delicate and sweet and feminine like a combination of baby pink, soft grey and white. It looks so clean and pristine and so elegant. My faves are the prints and monogram.
This is absolutely perfect! Stunning and gorgeous ! I am in love with every detail! My daughter was born on June 21. Her name is Ava Grace. I am taking some of your ideas and using them for her nursery. Thank you! You’re brilliant!
