My daughter’s colorful room.  Too bad she refuses to sleep there.  I guess you don’t always know these things before hand!  :-P

Lovely! And full of whimsy! Pity she wont’ sleep there. I’d be perfectly happy in this pretty room!

I love it! It is so colorful, bright and cheery. Everything is just perfect and looks like it was so well planed. The dress is so cute! Did you make the dress and the linens? The chandelier is just perfect for the room!

Love your daring and fearless use of colors. My favorite is that clothesline with cute little “clothes.” But why does your daughter refuse to sleep here? it kinda defeats the purpose of making a room she’d love. Is it because all those colors scare and overwhelm her?

      KelleJoya,

She just likes sleeping with us. Sometimes I can move her in here but that’s a rare occasion. The rest of my house is just as colorful and when the lights are dimmed, it’s not too bright. She plays in there, I guess that’s something. ;-) I’ve thought about repainting the walls a gray but the room has been painted three times already so it’s probably going to stay.

      Hi there!

Where did that beautiful quilt come from? I love it!

The one on the wall is from my aunt. The one on the crib is from me (though my skills have improved since I made that quilt). My quilt shop is at http://www.scarlettandjack.com. Thank you!

      Gracie,

Though I did make the linens, I cannot take credit for the dress. http://www.hopscotchdesigns.com/ Totally cute stuff!

I love your choice of wall color for a baby girl, but the accesories make a bit too busy

      Hi,

Me again. My husband loves your paint colour – what colour is it?

      Thanks!

I normally don’t like rooms that are too busy and prefer cleaner, simpler designs, but this is adorable and came together perfectly. Not my typical taste but I love this room and wouldn’t change a thing. I want that chair!

LOVE this room!!! I also bought that crazy chandelier for my baby’s room, but sadly it wouldn’t work with our ceiling height….it was hard for me to recover!! haha

      laceyb,

I don’t know if you can tell, but we had the cord and chain replaced and we swaged that bad boy to the side. ;-) There is also a small gypsy chandelier though I am not sure if it is still available.
