Ashton’s Construction First Birthday

Description

A first birthday party with a brightly colored unconventional trucks and tractors theme.  Since it was in the peak of summer we opted for a fun park that had plenty of water features to keep the kids cool. We had a Hot Dog buffet for lunch with plenty of lemonade, water, and soda. Fun beach balls were available for the kids to play with along with bubbles and toy dump trucks. We had a home made smash cake and cupcakes with incredible fondant cupcake toppers.

Design Inspiration

While still pregnant I stumbled across some brightly colored dump truck decorations on Etsy. I kept them in the back of my mind and when my son started to develop an obsession with his own truck toys the theme was locked.

Favorite Items

It is extremely hard for me to pick just one favorite item. Everything turned out exactly how I wanted it to. I was so in love with the bubble favors though. I'd have to say they are at the top of my list. I also was in complete shock at how awesome our cupcake toppers turned out. They were exact replicas of the images Le Poppy Design created.
