A bright and colorful candy shoppe was the theme for my sweet daughter's 2nd Birthday!
My daughter loves candy and bright colors and I thought it would be magical to transform a room in our house into a "candy shoppe" for her.
traditional with a little bit of french country....I love adding antiques in with new things!
We live near a candy factory, so anything that I could not find at the local dollar store I was able to buy at the candy factory. I covered the wall behind the candy table in strips of crepe paper to add more color and used paper mache letters covered with scrapbook paper to spell out SWEET. I used inexpensive jars from Marshalls and TJ Max in different heights for the candy table and the mini gumball machines were a lucky walmart find for just $1 each. I added personalized tags and ribbon to each one to tie them into the party theme. I took dollar store popcorn boxes and printed up cardstock to match the party theme and covered the boxes and used them as cotton candy containers.
For the party food I ordered subs from a local sandwhich shop and wrapped them in colorful cellophane and tied with ribbon like candy! Each type of sub was wrapped in its own color and piled up in baskets. Bright colored metal buckets were filled with side dish salads.

I think I like mini gumballs machine favors best. That was a huge hit with the kids!
Use risers to achive different heights on your table and use printed labels and tags to tie your theme together!
