Description
My baby girl's 1st birthday party.
Design Inspiration
I really wanted to create a dreamy, whimsical feel. The main inspiration for my party was the color scheme I found. Peach, sea foam green, cream and light pink. Andi is so dainty and delicate; I really wanted her party to highlight those qualities we love most about her.
Decorating Style
vintage and shabby chic
Project Details
For the lemonade bottles I used star bucks frappachino bottles and took off the labels. They were the perfect shape and size for little hands. I used coffee filters for the white wreath. so cheap! The cupcake toppers and birthday hat were made from my scrapbooking supplies. The pinwheels and wreath details were made from old dictionary pages. Instead of ordering macaroons I made homemade whoopie pies. I used strawberry cake mix and cream cheese frosting
Favorite Items
The cake and birthday outfit.
Advice
My main advice would be to borrow. All of the dishes and cake platters were borrowed. For the tissue paper balls I bought all of the tissue paper after Christmas, it was way on sale. I used a shower curtain as the table cloth. It fit perfectly on my square table.

This is absolutely gorgeous! Does anyone know where that blue dress is from? I realize this is a couple years old, but I love the look!

I am liking the look of your chandelier better than the one on the tutorial. Yours is much more pleated. Did you make the pinwheels first? Or did you do it like the tutorial? Would you mind letting me know? It's all just perfect!
