Description
A contemporary nursery for a baby girl
Design Inspiration
After months of searching for the perfect bedding (no too girly, but also not too modern) I finally found the All Aflutter set from The Land of Nod and we loved it! The rest of the room was built around the colors in the fabric.

Fun and Whimsical
Project Details
We started with more of a DIY game plan, but as the pregnancy progressed and time flew by that idea kind of went out the window. The one project (besides painting the wall) that we did was the square frames above the toy shelf. My husband stained them and we used different cards that we received from the baby showers as prints.
The bedding came from The Land of Nod and the butterfly mobile and rug were Pottery Barn purchases. The alphabet and number prints and the tree decal were from etsy sellers (Sugar Fresh and Pink n Blue Baby respectively). The toy shelf was found at Target.
Favorite Items
This is now my favorite room in the house and I love spending time in there with my baby girl. It's hard to pick one favorite item, but I love how the butterfly mobile worked out. When we turn on the ceiling fan the butterflies float around so peacefully.
Advice
Start with a theme and work around it. Not everything has to match perfectly or be part of a set though!
I LOVE your nursery. . What is the name of the color on the darker pink wall and what store is it from?
The pale pinks make the room so feminine and lovely, and the butterfly mobile too. I also think your tree wall decal with the owls is very cute. Really nice room overall.
Thanks Kaitlyn! The Crib and dresser are from Babys Dream… the Renaissance Collection

Thanks everyone! The mobile was from Pottery Barn Kids… but they only have it in the store. I couldn’t find it online.
Love your room!! Where did you purchase the Mobile?
I like the idea of the DIY square frames using the cards you have received in lieu of buying artworks. That really gave me an idea. Cards do have pretty and cute prints, don’t they?
Great wall art! You did this? Also, I would love to see the framed cards, but there are only 2 images showing right now…I’ll check back later. Very pretty nursery!
