Description
A vintage meets modern Alice in Wonderland inspired nursery.
Design Inspiration
I am a complete Alice in Wonderland fanatic. Alice in Wonderland has been my favorite story since I was a kid and continues to captivate me to this day. So it was no surprise that I've always dreamed of creating an Alice in Wonderland inspired nursery for a daughter. Note the word "inspired." I did not want the room to look like a scene in the Disney version which is what I think most people were expecting.
What did come as a surprise is that I totally embraced the color pink for this nursery! One look at my dark grey bedroom or my predominately black, grey and white wardrobe and you'll quickly determine that I'm not exactly a pretty in pink type of girl. But what can I say, I am in love with the way this very pink nursery turned out!
Decorating Style
My decorating style is varied. I love a combination of vintage, modern and ethnic influences.
Project Details
I have tons of details and resources used for the room on my blog:

Favorite Items
My favorite item is the shadow box that I made.
Advice
I hit up stores like HomeGoods, Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Ross to find great items for little money. I scoured the internet for inspiration and created a mood board so I had a clear vision of what I wanted to before I began shopping.

Alice in Wonderland is a really good theme for a girl. Alice's world is lovely and magical and mysterious. And oh, that frame on the wall by the crib is absolutely charming!

I love the shadow box, too. Very sweet of you to make this yourself. The ruffled curtains are really pretty, too. I think the different decorating styles you incorporated together really worked. The result is girly and nice.
