Addison’s Nursery

Description

I wanted to design a space that was girly with a sense of calm. I did not want the standard baby pink room and knew I wanted to use grey as the main colour so that it could be a room that Addison could grow with. PS check back in a few days I have a couple more projects on the go that I will add when finished.

Design Inspiration

I had a very hard time finding the perfect bedding, but once I finally did it became the inspiration for the rest of the nursery.

Decorating Style

Modern with a whimsical edge

Favorite Items

My favorite item in the room is 100% the bedding. I am in love with it.

Advice

I think if you are designing on a budget it is best to go with one piece that might be a little pricy (bedding in my case) and then build around it. Furniture that can be multi functional, such as using the dresser as a change table like we did, and a convertible crib are all excellent ways to stretch your hard earned dollars.
