Ada’s Nursery

Description

I wanted an elegant and girly nursery that wasn't too baby-ish for our daughter, Ada, due Nov. 5th. I knew I wanted to do alot of pink and white, but I love color, so I had to throw in some pops of hot pink.

Design Inspiration

The first things I found that I loved were the pink polka-dotted curtains and daisy finials from Pottery Barn kids. Based on these I knew I wanted to do polka-dots and daisies.

Decorating Style

Classic/Traditional with pops of color

So pretty and girly. I know my daughter would love to have a room like this!

This room's got some pretty little details. The wall collage, for one. Then there's the curtain with floral design, the corner shelf, and the lovely quilt.

I think that the windows, the curtain and the valance really made Ada' room great. Nice room!
