My husband and I are anxiously awaiting our foster care license. I have created this nursery in preparation for 3-month-old infants through 5-year-olds. I tried to create something that would be appropriate for both boys and girls and a wide range of ages. Hopefully a little one will be using it soon!

Wow you handpainted those bees and flowers? They are really cute. I also like the color of your wall. What exact shade of blue is that?

Bless your hearts for wanting to become foster parents!! This room is fabulous. It’s very cozy and calm (just what a foster child would need!) I love the bees, the faux window and the saying above the crib. Well done!

I think it’s very wonderful of you and your husband to be very willing and eager to foster care. Kudos to that! And it’s really nice of you to prepare a room that’s gender neutral and that’s appropriate for kids aged 3 months to 5 years. You did a great job setting up this room.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Unfortunately, I painted the room about 5 years ago, so I don’t remember if it had a name….it’s sort of a grayish-blue color.

Where did you find the bedding? I love it!

Did you have a stencil you used for the wall paintings? I am doing my baby nursery in the bumble bee theme. I actually have the exact same bedding as you! I am now looking for wall decor for the nursery. Please Help!
