Description
This is our nursery. We wanted a simple, traditional nursery without an animal theme. My husband built the shelves and the toy chest and we had such a great time creating this room for our son.
Design Inspiration
My inspiration the moose poster above the crib that we found on fawnandforest.com. We wanted to use the colors in the poster and decorate around them. I didn't want to have to repaint the room again in a few years, so we went with accesories that would be easy to change as our son grew. We were inspired by clean simple lines and a quirky poster that pulled our room together.
Decorating Style
Simple, clean, traditional.
Project Details
We found the moose and the alphabet poster on fawn&forest.com and used the colors to paint the room and find our furniture. the dresser was bought used from craigslist and the dresser from Babies R Us. My husband built the toychest and the shelves for frames and accesories.
Favorite Items
The favorite item in the room is the moose poster that hangs above his bed.

What a great room! I bet Max loves it already. Can you tell me what paint color you used on the walls? Thanks!

The earth colors make this nursery look so warm and cozy. It's easy and not overwhelming for the senses. I really like the cute moose poster, too.

I really love the soft, warm, gender-neutral tones of this nursery. And yeah, it's simple and clean so it's very relaxing. I wouldn't mind sleeping every night in here.
