Aqua and Coral Nursery

Design Inspiration

I've been obsessed with coral lately and have always loved aqua. It seemed like the perfect color combination (with pops of yellow) to make our little girl's nursery feel fun and playful but not overly girlie. I was inspired by this nursery and loved the subtle hot air balloon "theme" - mostly that it didn't feel to over the top, but still fun and whimsical.

Decorating Style

I love bright, cheerful and colorful spaces that make me smile.

Favorite Items

My favorite items would have to be the Hot Air Balloon Mobile and the Coral Dresser. The mobile was so much fun to make and is so whimsical (it's my husband's favorite piece). The coral dresser was a labor of love and took a lot of man hours - I'm so happy with how it turned out!

Advice

Don't be afraid to dive into some DIY projects! They may take some time, but can save you money and make the room that much more special. Most of all, just have fun with it!
