Thank you, Mila G! The walls and floor were more damaged in the original room (good photography masked it, I think). The pergo floor had areas of water damage, and the tiling in front of the fireplace was cracked. The wood paneling was also fairly damaged from the previous owners’ pets (I had to do soooooo many hours of patching with wood putty). Luckily with the wood putty + several layers of paint the damage is MUCH less noticeable on the paneling now!

I would kill for a playroom like this! I love the rock wall! And even before you transformed it, the room was already gorgeous!
