Description
I designed this nursery for my baby girl due in January 2013. I knew I wanted some pink, but I didn't want it to look like a pink explosion, so that's why I choose blue for the walls. My husband and I spent about 2 weeks putting the board and batten up, and that really set the tone of the room right away. Next, I customized the bedding from carousel designs, and once the colors were finalized, I spent the next 2 months researching and acquiring the rest of the pieces.
Decorating Style
I have a hard time describing my decorating style. I like clean lines and uncluttered spaces, but at the same time I try to use colors to infuse warmth.

Favorite Items
My favorite item is definitely the butterfly mobile. It was one of the starting points for the room design and I haven't seen anything else like it.
That butterfly clock is very unique, creative, and nice. I like the growth chart, too. Looking at the thumbnails, I even thought the growth chart was a pair of jeans with a floral design.
My favorites are those cute little frames with lovely faded prints. Lovely room.
