Description
A relaxing peaceful little boy's nursery
Design Inspiration
We knew we were having a boy before starting this nursery, but I didn't want the traditional blue, so I went for green instead. I was inspired by Restoration Hardware's Silver Sage color. I spent a lot of time planning the accent wall above the crib. I loved the horizontal stripe look but wanted something a little different, so I mimicked the trim on the bedding and created this accent wall.
Decorating Style
I love to add my own personal touches when ever I can
Project Details
The furniture is from Pottery Barn Kids. The bedding and curtains and some accessories are from Restoration Hardware Baby & Child. Most of the artwork and accessories are DIY projects. The mobile is also a DIY project.
Favorite Items
My favorite item in the room is the 36x36in alphabet canvas I made. We also love the Pottery Barn Kids rocker.
Advice
Take your time and make it your own space. Look at lots of examples to figure out what you like.

I love the warm brown walls. What brand paint color did you use? We are using similar colors for our son's nursery and just love the warmth of the walls with the contrasting colors!! Thanks!

I think that this nursery is a combination of cute and elegant touches. I love the simple lines and patterns as well as the recurring teddy bears.

Like the contrast of the colors: the warmth of brown and the subtle coolness or freshness of sage green. Your mobile looks interesting and cute. Wish you had a close-up shot of that.
