Description
After having four beautiful girls, I wanted a definite boys room. I wanted it to be simple, modern, and classy. I wanted a soft grayish-blue tone on the wall that can be kept as he grows. It has a little bit of golf, and a little of everything else. I did not want a bedding "set" for the crib. It looks cleaner and uncluttered this way, and it is safer for baby.
Design Inspiration
The inspiration for this room was these little golf prints that I found online. I wanted to incorporate golf somehow because my husband loves golfing and plans on taking Z golfing. The prints had a lot of red and navy in them. So, I added red around the room, with the toy baskets and navy in the window panels. Also, the chevron print that I found on etsy was another inspiration. So, I added some stripes with the rug and window treatments to make it a little modern.
Decorating Style
I love my rooms to be simple and modern.

Advice
Simple is best. Find inspiration with one item, then go from there.
Where did you find the golf prints?
Love to know what the paint color is called….
I love the color on the walls! It looks like a perfect blue-gray. Which BM color is it?
Katy,
We are also using a grey and white chevron blanket from etsy! :)
I am seeing these curtains everywhere and just LOVE them, but can’t find them to buy ANYWHERE! I’m about to resort to making them myself, but if there is a place to buy them without breaking the bank, I’d love to know where!!! :)

Frauline Melfi,
Thank you very much!
Classy indeed. It really suits a baby boy! I like your use of stripes, chevron and elephant prints.
