I’ve been waiting for an excuse to use the fabric from Kate Spade’s Candy Stripe shower curtain, but nothing felt quite right in our home until I found out I was expecting a daughter. It was important that the tiny room felt airy, clean, and feminine but not too flouncy – she has two older brothers to keep up with so a fun edge was a must!
This nursery for Asha was designed before she was born but still is a work in progress. I need to put her name, initials and some pictures in the room. I love the color combination of grey, white and pink. I think this nursery is fantastic!
Designed this nursery for our 1st baby…and IT’S A GIRL! I wanted a traditional, vintage style that creates a soothing atmosphere. I wanted to include DIY pieces that would add a personal touch mixed with new pieces to fit the vision for a unique and comforting nursery :)
I spent a lot of time imagining the perfect space for my little baby girl. I wanted something soothing but colorful and fun. I knew I’d be spending a lot of time in the nursery in the coming months! While I was pregnant I did everything from the painting to woodworking projects with my dad to make the space special. It turned out just how I imagined and I love playing with baby Annabelle in the room every morning!
Just a cute little DIY project to keep me busy while waiting for baby’s arrival. I wanted to add some fall décor to the space while still staying within the color scheme. I decoupaged one of the pumpkins and the others I adorned with ribbon/rick rack.
Olivia, my daughter, was the head designer and decorator with a little bit of advice from me. I really wanted her to feel like it’s her personal room.

I started collecting ideas for a travel-themed nursery well before I found out that I was pregnant. My husband and I both love to travel and can’t wait to share our adventures with our children someday. We had a great time selecting the items for the room and putting everything together. Hopefully, this room will inspire our little girl to go out and see the world!

Baby girl nursery on a budget. I wanted a nursery that had girly aspects without the flowers and butterflies. I had a very small room to work with so it was very important not to get to many pieces of furniture in the room to avoid over crowding.
I wanted to give my first born a classic, feminine nursery with some modern touches. I didn’t want to use a theme or be stuck with décor that I couldn’t reuse later on. I had so much fun finding items for Bella’s nursery, whether that be scoring great deals at Homegoods or using things I already had in other areas of my home. Her room was made with a lot of love.
The moment I found out I was having a girl, I knew I wanted her room to be girly and nothing themed! I began searching online for inspiration and the Finley bedding was what kept catching my attention. I kept with the colors in the bedding for the wall color and other accents in the room.

With our third baby on the way, we decided that this time we didn’t want to find out the gender, as we had with our first two (a boy and then a girl). So, I designed a gender neutral nursery that could have the final (gender specific) touches after baby arrived.
