Easton’s Nautical Nursery
This nautical nursery is for our son due in early July. Our house is coastal inspired and I wanted to keep the trend with his nursery.

I designed a gender neutral nursery for our first baby that will allow me to make it more personalized once baby is here.
When we found out we were having a boy, we both agreed that we did not want a traditional “baby room”. We wanted the room to still match the rest of the house decor.
I have always been a big fan of old Hollywood stars, especially the 50’s decade. When I found out that I was expecting a little girl, I knew I had to incorporate my love for vintage Hollywood into her nursery. I also didn’t have a lot of money to work with, so most of her things were found at a thrift store or hand me downs that I DIYed. I also had friends and family who made things too. It’s a timeless room that will grow with her and didn’t break our bank!
Soft mint and pink girly nursery for our first child, without being over the top frilly. Her nursery was a labour of love and we spent the better part of my pregnancy researching, shopping and constructing; the final shelves were installed the day my water broke :-)
After moving into our new home, it was time to put together the perfect room for my little ladies.
A white, gold and pink dreamland for a little princess.
When I found out I was pregnant and was having a girl, I was so excited and had so many ideas running through my head. Initially I wanted her room to be shades of purple like the color of the Iris flower, but as I looked around I started to lean more towards Aqua and Vintage Silver, and my husband wanted Fuchsia, which later turn to Hot Pink. These colors became the new colors for decorating our beautiful flower room. We went with the theme Glitz and Glam taking into consideration her room is small, we made sure to be careful with the amount of furniture we placed in her nursery. Therefore we purchased a crib and dresser/changing table combo set to prevent the room from being cluttered. The organizer was a gift from our baby shower and it was just the right size and it’s very beneficial. My husband and I did a lot of team work in completing this project along with other family members and friends. Neither one of us wanted the typical princess theme but as we started decorating the room, the more it started to look like a room fit for a princess without it being the theme. How ironic?!..lol
I wanted to create a glamorous baby girl’s nursery that was clean, fresh, and feminine.
My main goal with Cecelia’s space was to keep it timeless enough that I wouldn’t have to redo it in five years. I wanted to create a room that was “girly” but could easily transform into a “young girl” room in a few years.
The mural is filled with wildflowers, butterflies and dragonflies. The wall is bejeweled with rhinestones and Swarovski crystals. Her ceiling has hues of lavender painted into the clouds. For her accent wall, she requested a bunny in a basket. She got 2 bunnies. She named the them Cocoa and Fudgie.
A sock monkey nursery for our baby boy, Landon.
Enchanted love boxes – a magical box with a 2D character at its center. This human figure incorporates a vintage image to a child face and it is all wrapped in vintage designed patterns. Basically creating an artwork a child can identify with.
A nautical nursery for our ocean state baby.

A few weeks ago, I became fed up with the beige-beige-beige combo of my three-year-old’s bedroom. It’s a tiny space, so my goals became to make the room appear larger, add lots of color, and just make it more fun and reflective of C’s personality.
When we found out our twins were two girls, I knew immediately I wanted something very feminine and girly, without using an overwhelming amount of pink. I also wanted a lot of storage and organization, because I knew when the girls got here it was going to be very helpful if everything had its place!
A classic Star Wars motif with a modern feel for a young boy that loves Star Wars.
A sweet and elegant pink and grey nursery designed for our baby girl with personal touches handmade by mommy and daddy.
This project was created by taking found objects as well as furniture that we already owned that needed a face lift.
