Kailey Ann-Elizabeth’s Nursery!
Fun, Pink, Girlie, Jungle Theme Nursery!!!!!
Fun, Pink, Girlie, Jungle Theme Nursery!!!!!
We intend to keep the boys in the same room for the remainder of the time we live in our townhouse which will be at least 4 to 5 more years so I really wanted the perfect nursery that wasn’t too babyish so the boys could easily transition in it once they reach the toddler stage. Also, I didn’t want to spend a fortune in the process so between bargain hunting and “Do -It-Yourself” ideas I came up with – this is what I created ; -)
I wanted something bright and fun, that was designed for a child but wasn’t childish, and I wanted a loose theme. We decided on an animal theme with emphasis on giraffes!
We wanted a nursery that was modern, yet warm and cozy. One that had a unique identity, that didn’t look like it was a set we bought at one store or too “babyish”. Most important, we wanted an element of fun! Before we found out that we were having a boy, we agreed on the turquoise wall color. I am not sure that the room would look too much different if we were having a girl; probably color punches of fuchsia and more metallic accents.
A bright nursery with lots of interesting artwork that mainly focuses on giraffes and elephants.**We were keeping Harrison’s name a secret. So, when I took these pictures I didn’t have the button letter H canvas up by the changing table. Instead, I put a blank canvas up to hold it’s place. That’s why there is a blank canvas there- the H canvas is now there.**
We are so excited to be adding a little boy to our family! My husband said he wanted something “modern & preppy” for our little man so I tried to keep this in mind when designing the room. I think we created a clean space that reflects the overall feel we were going for.
A very pink giraffe-print inspired birthday party for my daughter’s first birthday! Shades of pink, giraffe prints, tulips and pennant banner flags made her first birthday party exactly what I envisioned.
A modern & hip “safari” gender neutral room. See a full description here: http://psastampcamp.blogspot.com/2012/05/room-for-20.html
Putting together my first child’s nursery was a blast. I stuck with natural colors and grey walls. I love the handmand barn wood sign that hangs above his changing dresser. The room offers a calming feel and a warm space for Baby. It also offers a space for mom and dad to rest if needed.
Nursery was so much fun to do, I loved the shopping and the planning. The day we brought Max home it was just perfect.
A wonderful sophisticated family with modern tastes were looking to update their daughter’s nursery into something more suitable for the first boy in the family.
twin boys’ nursery!
We didn’t want a theme so that he could easily grow into his room. We love the mix of animals, airplanes, and art work.
Working with a small space, we combined the nursery and our master bedroom.
We created our own animal 3-D wall art for our nursery that was super easy, fairly inexpensive, and matched our bedding!
Inspired (and intimidated!) by all the great nursery designs on the web, I decided that it really is possible to create a great, personal space on a tight budget. Owen’s nursery is filled with lovingly DIY’d, thrifted, and gifted objects that we’ve collected and arranged in little ways that make us happy. We aren’t allowed to paint our walls, so it’s been fun trying to figure out other ways to bring some color to the room. I know it still needs some work (need to get an area rug!!), but this room is now the most loved corner of our little house!
I wanted to create a very colorful room for our baby girl, since I’m a designer and love the theory of colour and how it affects our personality, I thought I would give it a try and see if happy colors equal happy little girl!
We wanted Nicolas’ nursery to be whimsical and tranquil, but classic and contemporary at the same time. The room was painted camel tan so that allowed us to use a simple, yet chic and sophisticated color palette – light blue, brown, tan and hints of white.
The jungle theme is largely gender neutral with some pink highlights for our little girl.
