Enchanted Garden 1st Birthday

A DIY first birthday party for my sweet baby girl :) We put a lot of time and effort in to planning and executing this party. The decorations and food were done on a budget but the rest was not: We had to build a dividing fence through our yard to keep our three giant dogs on one side. We also bought an outdoor setting, park bench, amazing gazebo and rebuilt our sandpit for the kids to play in. We are so pleased with how the day turned out!!

Sofia’s Garden Birthday Party

I’ve decided to start this project just 2 months prior to the party. I wanted the decoration to be colorful and to include garden animals, but not to be a “enchanted garden”… I had NEVER made anything in felt and had no clue where to start. With help from 2 friends, I learned how to make the felt decorations and spent nights doing everything. Every small detail was homemade by me. I used items from my home to complete the decoration and fresh flowers and leaves from my garden.

cupcakeMAG brings you a dream nursery….

cupcakeMAG partnered with some amazing top baby brands to bring one reader a dream nursery – Newport Cottages, Banner Boutique, Phil&Teds, and many more! This has been months in the making and we are thrilled to share it with readers as one mother’s dream came true! Stay tuned for all the details soon to be on Project Nursery! We filled the room with things fit for a princess and filled the closet with the necessities for a first time mom and all the must-haves she needs at her finger tips!

A Triplet Nursery!

Affording a nursery for 3 baby girls wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t started from scratch. Being able to pick out my own colors, patterns and design and have them all sewn together really made it original. All the crafts, pillows and drapes in the room are hand-made , painted-giving it just the personal touch I wanted for my girls. My sister in law sewed the bedding for me and did an amazing job. It’s definitely my dream nursery!
