Baby A’s Classic Burlap and Blue Shower

I co-hosted a baby shower for one of my childhood friends, Cortney. Ā Her cousin, Britny, best friend, Chrystale, and myself had so much fun collaborating for this very special occasion! Ā It turned out beautiful! Ā It had a masculine feel with the twine and burlap mixed with the hydrangea blue but still had a touch of feminine for the mommy!

Sweet Tea Party Birthday

A sweet tea party birthday filled with sweets, treats, flowers and all things pink and purple.

Enchanted Garden 1st Birthday

A DIY first birthday party for my sweet baby girl :) We put a lot of time and effort in to planning and executing this party. The decorations and food were done on a budget but the rest was not: We had to build a dividing fence through our yard to keep our three giant dogs on one side. We also bought an outdoor setting, park bench, amazing gazebo andĀ rebuiltĀ our sandpit for the kids to play in. We are so pleased with how the day turned out!!

Sofia’s Garden Birthday Party

I’ve decided to start this project just 2 months prior to the party. IĀ wanted theĀ decoration to beĀ colorful andĀ to include garden animals, but not to be a “enchanted garden”… I had NEVER made anything in felt and had no clue whereĀ to start. With help from 2 friends, I learned how to make the felt decorations and spent nights doing everything. Every small detail was homemade by me. I used items from my home to complete the decoration and fresh flowers and leaves from my garden.

Harper’s Pink & Gray Rose Nursery

I wanted to create a room that reflected the pastel colors of my childhood.Ā  There is something so calming and endearing about pastel pink.Ā  However, I AM a modern girl and I wanted a more contemporary look so I incorporated gray as an accent color and balanced the two colors with pops of white in the furniture and varying elements of nature.

A Triplet Nursery!

Affording a nursery for 3 baby girls wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t started from scratch. Being able to pick out my own colors, patterns and design and have them all sewn together really made it original. All the crafts, pillows and drapes in the room are hand-made , painted-giving it just the personal touch I wanted for my girls. My sister in law sewed the bedding for me and did an amazing job. It’s definitely my dream nursery!

Whimsical Owls

Cute room with an owl motif. Very sweet bedding and colors in the room. I decided to paint a swirling vine border around the room to tie the colors together and add interest on the walls.
