For Caroline’s December birthday, I wanted a cozy feel so I chose a site with a large fireplace, leather sofas, wood paneled walls, and an intimate spot for everyone to be together. I wanted mostly white foods. I’m disappointed I didn’t get a better picture of the cozy fireplace area.
1st Birthday
I love planning parties, so I couldn’t wait to throw one for my little man turning one. My son loves animals, so I decided to arrange a visit from Henry the donkey. The kids were so excited to meet him, and have a chance to sit on his back for a photo op.
I wanted to make Amos the theme of his birthday party. So, I made the monthly pictures I’d been taking the centerpiece of the festivities. I LOVED seeing my boy and how he’d grown (the project I’d worked so hard on!) on display. :)
We celebrated our sweet Beckett’s first birthday with a Red, White, & One themed backyard BBQ at our home.
It was my baby’s first birthday on October 6, so I wanted to incorporate pumpkins for Fall and yet infuse a bunch of girliness into it as well. Hence the orange + pink theme :)
Parker’s first word was “doggie” so I knew I wanted to throw him a puppy themed party. Everything available to purchase for a puppy party was not my style so I decided to make my own decorations and food. With a little help from Pinterest I planned a puppy themed party that was modern and tasteful.
We had a monster themed 1st birthday party for our little monster Tripp. Full of bright colors, fun printables, and lots of arts and crafts for the kiddos!!
Dad’s love for fishing, and my love for trends turned into a Nautical Fishing party!
I designed this first birthday party for my one year old daughter, Emery. I knew I wanted the party to have a vintage antique feel with soft colors and vintage style patterns but also the modern Chevron pattern. I have been gathering ideas and “picking” pieces for a good 6 months.
Penelope’s handmade sweet and simple Sunshine theme 1st birthday. We used the colors yellow, aqua and gray.
Fall Carnival themed 1st birthday party. Focusing on Carnival Favs, without the three ring circus. More similar to your community Fall Carnival.
Cat in the Hat themed birthday party for my son’s 1st Birthday!
For my son’s one-year-old birthday, I threw a “One Year Old in a Flash” party with orange and blue color schemes.

For Sadies first birthday we decided to do a wonderland theme because shes a very curious little girl.
I chose a Little Man party theme for Levi’s first birthday. I saw the idea several places and fell in love when he was still in my womb….and when we did not know if we were having a boy or girl. I decided, if its a boy, this is what I am doing for his first birthday party!
A Strawberry Shortcake-themed picnic birthday party for our little girl’s family and friends. Mostly DIY decor in red, pink and green.
My daughter’s first birthday party. I had so much fun organizing it and tried to do as much as I could myself.
