Nautical Baby Showers are such a fun theme to work with. From the fun themed props to the color scheme, we love how it all came together. All of the paper decor was handcrafted and custom made for this event. Our favorite: The diaper cake, we love these custom orders and they make such a great impact on the table. I wanted my baby shower to be loads of fun for all my girlfriends, so that meant tonnes of fun games and delicious cocktails (and virgin punch for me)! I am a lover of all things 1950’s vintage, so the babyshower was retro themed to compliment my style.

My goal for this shower was an under-the-sea vibe that wasn’t too juvenile, and I wanted a feminine look without being too pink and frilly. The basic color palette of light and dark aqua along with coral pink was rounded out by grey, purple, and golden yellow. We tried to incorporate decor that could be reused in the baby’s nursery after the shower.
I am originally from Utah and currently live in Arizona. My family and friends threw me a baby shower so I traveled to Utah for the shower. My sister-in-law hosted at her beautiful home along with three of my close friends.
I’m so excited to share this sweet aqua and lavender baby shower I recently coordinated. My girlfriend who hosted the shower came up with the sweetest vision and it was so much fun bringing it all to life! Her house is absolutely gorgeous and complimented the theme perfectly. So it all started with our client wanting a wish upon a star theme. We knew right away we would make this a more hip and cool up to date theme by adding in the rustic elements . This party was all about diy. We hand made all the centerpieces, spray painted the letters, hand made the banners, candy labels, thank you bags and the list doesn’t end there. one of our favorite elements of the event was utlizing the custom rustic wood bar that we designed with the contractor, Adam Mayer. The built-in bar added just the right amount of added rustic we needed for a side backdrop. Being that my business partner and I are both new moms we knew exactly what its like to have a baby shower. We wanted to make this a stylish yet relaxing event for our client. There were tons of food and candies for everyone to munch on and we loved the cake pops and cake that we designed with Vani… The paper brown “About to Pop’ popcorn bags were hidden around the corner for a nice little surprise treat. The gold made everything bling and sparkle while working magically off the teal color.

When my very good friend told me that she is having baby number 2, my mind raced to baby shower planning. :) I wanted to make sure it was absolutely special, elegant and wonderfully memorable event for her.
That’s where PJ’s sister and I went crazy exchanging ideas and tips to make sure this shower was even more special one than the first shower we threw for her. PJ’s sister-in-law joined forces and then another one of our friend joined as a hostess as well.
The event was hosted at PJ’s basement so it was a pain to keep most of the elements a secret. Also, mom-to-be wanted it to be ladies only event to which the hostesses happily obliged.
