A spa-like neutral-colored bathroom, perfect for all ages, babies to adults.
This is a nursery I put together for my new baby. When I was about 5 months pregnant I started making things and collecting interesting art and toys.
Taylor’s mom decided to surprise her for her 11th birthday with a sophisticated new space featuring her favorite color.
This year I set up a little Thanksgiving feast, to help get my toddler in the spirit of thankfulness. I displayed store bought treats, created Pilgrim & Indian printables, and set up a cider stand. Turkey sandwiches, and corn coblettes were on the menu. The no-cost tee pee that I constructed was a hit, and a fun source of entertainment & imagination!

I am excited to finally have a daughter and creating her nursery was the first on my to do list. Unfortunately due to my limited activity from being on bed rest, I was not able to do all the shopping I wanted, so most of my purchases were made online. I was able to complete her room before my stay at the hospital for the duration of my pregnancy after 32 weeks. I’m so excited her nursery is complete and waiting for her arrival!
I have always loved the color combination black and pink and to add a little bit of change, I’ve added different shades of blue to her color pallet. I started with the custom bedding from Etsy with JDesigns and used the damask, chevron, and minky in hot pink, black, white, and teal color scheme. I found a wonderful damask rug at Garden Ridge which enhanced the black chandelier. I already had the antique mirror and vanity in the room so in order to coordinate the existing furniture I decided on a white crib and changing table. The only thing missing is a recliner. Unfortunately my husband was not a fan of the gray glider I purchased from Target and we are still in search of a comfortable gray or black recliner to complete her room. In regards to accessories, I purchased most of the storage bins at either TJ Max or Home Goods. I am a fan of elephants lately and one of my close friends purchased the blue elephant for her shelf and we purchased the gray floor elephant from Costco which looks very similar to the Hardware Restoration version.
I’m excited about her arrival and I hope she enjoys all the hard work that went through completing her room.
For me, the nursery planning started the moment when I found out this little bean, my third after having two boys, was a girl! I had ooo’d and aww’d over many a baby girl nursery before but never thought i’d be decorating one of my own one day. In my mind, I was always destined to have 3 boys!
I knew right off the bat I wanted purple and turquoise, and I new I wanted chevron and polka dots… so I headed straight to Etsy for inspiration. Most people head to pinterest, I know I know, I’m just an Etsy girl.
I thought starting with the perfect bedding would be a good place to start and after endlessly searching I could not find a set that had everything I was looking for to save my life. Hmph. So I had to switch gears, I had to think outside of the box.. I went to a fabric site instead. After a lot of trial and error I finally came up with an inspiration board of fabrics that I knew I would love…. and the rest fell into place with the help of some seriously knock-your-socks-off vendors, a few fun DIY projects, and a lot of love <3
A colorful, airy nursery designed with joy and love for my little Ryann.
When I found out I was having a baby girl, I knew I wanted a fun nursery that wasn’t too girly. So after a lot of time spent on Pinterest, I went with aqua, coral and gray for the colors to give it a fun, modern vibe but still be girly and cute.
Just a cute little DIY project to keep me busy while waiting for baby’s arrival. I wanted to add some fall décor to the space while still staying within the color scheme. I decoupaged one of the pumpkins and the others I adorned with ribbon/rick rack.
This nursery was designed for our son or daughter – who we are expecting to arrive in early October! The nursery is full of colorful textiles, DIY projects and sentimental reminders of good times my husband and I have had together as a family of two!
I was so excited to have this awesome party theme thrown my way by a great local mom here in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Her daughter was adamant about having a party based on the Adventure Time TV show. Mom was having a hard time finding party supplies to go with the theme so she came to me. I made all the graphics for her and a custom cake/cupcakes/marshmallow pops as well. All in all working on this project was a good time. The kids had a ball at the party playing a cool penguin bowling game that they made out of bottles. An awesome face painter and entertainer was there to show the kids an extra fun time as well. Great party for a great gal, Happy Birthday Aila!
Travel-themed gender neutral nursery
We had our first baby in early October. I was very passionate about creating a warm and inviting space for our little guy. I have a love for decorating and a passion for DIY and handmade. I just started blogging about it at www.youme-we.com. I loved expressing my creative side by creating a safe and welcoming nursery!
My husband and I were over the moon when we learned that we were pregnant earlier this year. We knew right away that we wanted to wait to find out the baby’s gender in the delivery room; so I began my quest to find ideas for a gender neutral nursery that wasn’t your typical mint green and pale yellow.
Hollyn’s room is a bright nursery accented by a bright turquoise wall and fun custom coordinating fabrics!
I was so happy when I was asked to help with this birthday party, I knew from our first conversations that this party would be GREAT! EAE Personalized Creations did the print work and Ella’s Momma did all the leg work. I couldnt be happier with how this sweet party turned out ;)
