We love what we do. Interior design isn’t just a job for us, it’s a way of life. With children of our own, we are inspired by the things that bring joy to our little ones. Whether it be the texture of weathered wood on a well-used play house, the vibrant colors in a story book or the saying on a cheeky t-shirt, we can find inspiration all around us.

We love to add vintage pieces to every room we design—they add a little interest and make the design one-of-a-kind. We also love vintage dressers painted in fun colors to add more personality to a room. With all of our children’s designs, we always try to add a little personal touch to the room by creating something that is unique to each child or his or her personality. It could be a nod to the family dog or incorporating a special nickname. Adding something personal makes the space the child’s very own.

We agree that one of the best things about designing children’s spaces is watching the parents reacquaint themselves with their inner child. Their eyes light up with excitement, and it really becomes a wonderful journey where it’s fun to be a kid again. Their love, hopes and dreams are all poured into this little space, and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of it all. The best thing of all is seeing the joy on their faces when the room is all pulled together, and hearing them tell us, “This is better than I even imagined!” sends us home to our own families with smiles on our faces.
