Into the Blue Boys Room

This was a super fun project! I wanted a space that would be able to mature over time, but still feel playful and fun for the current phase. Blue was his favourite colour and just took it from there! We strategically created four zones in this space and I think it turned out awesome!

Moody Natural Nursery

Choosing the dark and moody masculine theme for my son’s room was a personal and inspired decision. I wanted to create a space that not only reflected his personality but also felt cozy and stylish. The walnut furniture and personalized walnut name sign added a touch of sophistication and warmth that I thought would resonate well with his preferences.
The deep tones of the walnut furniture created the perfect masculine vibe I was aiming for. The idea was to make the room feel both comfortable and stylish. The personalized name sign was a special touch, making the space uniquely his. I believe that the environment we create has a significant impact on our mood and overall well-being, so I wanted his room to be a place he truly enjoys spending time in.
For those considering a similar project, my advice is to really think about the individual’s likes and dislikes. Tailoring the design to their preferences makes the room more meaningful and personal. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different textures, lighting, and unique touches like personalized signsโ€”they can truly transform a space.
Ultimately, the goal is to create a room that not only looks fantastic but also feels like a true reflection of the person who occupies it. Enjoy the process and have fun with the design!

Dreamer and Explorer Nursery

As the founder and interior decorator at Charm Custom Interiors, it was so rewarding to complete this special project for my son’s baby nursery.๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŒŸTheme: โ€Dream, Explore, Discoverโ€๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿพโ€๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพโ€โœˆ๏ธ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿช๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿš€
I decided to choose a color pallete and theme that wasn’t too specific so my son can mature and evolve with the space.ย  I used various shades of blue, beige, and white while incorporating textures like wood, woven textile, leather, and gold metallic accents. There’s a combination of images like the dreamy blue sky, airplanes, astronaut, and exploration which provide the playful, imaginative element.ย  I hope my son is inspired to reach for the stars and know his options are limitless.๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’™ Instead of hiring vendors to complete the install, my husband and I did everything ourselves.ย  We painted the walls & ceiling, hung wallpaper, hung curtains, replaced the light fixture, assembled furniture, and installed the decor finishing touches.
When thinking of a starting point for designing your space, think about what people, place, hobbies, etc. inspire you.ย  What feelings and emotions do you want your space to bring to its occupants? Once you find a source of inspiration, build around it.ย  I approach each project with a Pinterest board, curated mood board, color pallete, room measurements, room layout, and 3D design.

Coastal Organic Toddler Boy Room

Big boy room upgrade! We decided to go with a fun bold pineapple print to match our beautiful blue linen bedding. I chose a natural finish bed, and a neutral carpet with to pair with the eye-catching wallpaper. This keeps it fun, but will also work with him as he grows! We tried to incorporate other textures like natural wood bookshelves, leather floor poufs and white textured linen black out curtains to keep an organic minimalist feel.

Baby Diego’s Nursery

I want to share my newborn nursery project with all of you!!! My goal was to create a space for Diego to feel safe and calm, thats why I used grey, white and a light touch of blue to make it his safe place.
When I was searching for wallpapers, I found Livettes Wallpapers on Instagram. I immediately felt in love with the different patterns and designs they have. What I loved the most was that any design you can personalized it to make it you own. I used the Botanical Foliage with white background and the leaves in fog color. The result was PERFECT!!! Also the service at Livettes was amazing, always answering my doubts and concerns.
I hope you guys like my project as much as Diego and I do.

Modern Organic NYC Nursery

We did not necessarily want to choose a “theme” for baby boy’s nursery, but rather incorporate worldly, natural & earthy elements to bring a calming & grounding effect to his sacred space.
The primary focus was on mixing textures and elements. We went with high quality pieces that would last for years to come and be able to transition with our son as he grows.
The biggest inspiration for the project was all of our worldly travels – on our babymoon, we traveled to France, Morocco, and Italy and wanted to encompass some of those aspects into his nursery.

Neutral Woodland Nursery

Introducing Remy Carter’s neutral woodland nursery!
There’s something extra special about designing your second son’s nursery. We wanted Remy’s room to feel natural, and simple while also feeling cozy, and warm. The design is something that can grow right alongside him, and the green accent wall is timeless!

Neutrals Boho Nursery

Lots of love went into designing this room. I enjoy a neutral pallet with hints of boho. My goal was to create a calm and peaceful environment for baby boy since we will be spending a lot of time in here. I also grouped items based on age and type. The closet is from ikea and the dividers were purchased from Amazon. Overall, Iโ€™m really happy with how it turned out and I canโ€™t wait to make wonderful memories with my little one.
