Boho Daisy Nursery

The nursery was designed to be cheerful yet calming with its warm tones, wood/rattan pieces & floral wallpaper.  We absolutely love how the daisy wallpaper brightens up the space and adds a splash of color to the previously all gray room, not to mention it was SO easy to install!  We chose neutral furniture pieces so that when baby #2 arrives someday, we can easily modify the room to a baby boy nursery if need be.

Southwest Moon Nursery

I was able to build almost everything in this nursery myself for our rainbow baby boy. My inspiration came from living in the southwest while also being fascinated with the moon.

Sweet as a Peach Nursery

With baby girl being born in Georgia, we wanted to create a “Sweet as a Peach” theme that was soft but not too girly.  We thought a bright peach was the perfect color to complete the job!  We also incorporated a customized, one of a kind accent wall with a wonder woman-like “M” design. Don’t shy away from using bold colors that can bring your room to life!

Where the Wild Thing Sleeps

The entire room is inspired by the Maurice Sendak book, “Where the Wild Things Are”. I wanted my son to have a space he can grow with, encourages his imagination, play, adventure, and of course, reading! Nothing encapsulates all those things more than the childhood book that I grew up with, “Where the Wild Things Are”.
My family and friends helped bring my vision to life with my mom making our son’s name, “Mac” above the closet using pages from the book and my Aunt, cutting out the silhouettes of the iconic characters. The mural was done by my very talented friend, Amber Bambler, https://www.amberbambler.com/, which really brought the room together and brought a coziness that one can only find through love and imagination.
My biggest piece of advice is to incorporate use of color, the old with the new, and try to put your own special touches from your childhood into the nursery. Have fun with your design and don’t be afraid to chose bold color choices!

ONE Happy Camper

We wanted to give my sweet boy the best first birthday for making us have the best year of our lives! When searching for themes, I felt like I was seeing the same ideas and themes over and over, and definitely less ideas for boys! When finally stumping upon the camping theme I was left in the dark with very few ideas to go off of. I whipped up these details with the help of my mom and would love to share with you the day Rayden was ONE Happy Camper !
