A Travel Themed Nursery, Vintage Style!

This stunning nursery designed for baby Carter by his mama, Angela Riley, is the perfect blend of style and comfort!  The large wall map from National Geographic is the focus of the room, and gives an antique vibe to Carter’s happy nursery.  Angela was aiming for a travel themed nursery with a vintage vibe.  We think she nailed it!

Our classic Navy Buffalo Plaid Crib Bedding gives the room a tailored, timeless appeal.  This plaid bedding collection can purchased as a set, or each piece is available separately (crib rail cover, crib sheet, crib skirt, nursery pillow & baby blanket).  Other available bedding colors include khaki, gray and pink.

The dark iron crib from Million Dollar Baby adds warmth and heirloom appeal.

Angela chose Sherwin William’s Arugula green paint for the nursery walls.  The hunter green backdrop makes a bold statement in the room, making the furniture and wall decor pop.  The bookcases, pieces from Angela’s own nursery, organize books, toys and more.

A a lover of travel, Angela incorporated keepsakes that she and her husband have collected from various excursions.  The framed photograph prints over the bookcases are from national parks they have visited in the past.  On the bookshelf there is a framed bear claw from Alaska, a zebra toy from Africa among other keepsakes, all collected during travels around the globe.  The classic styled nursery curtains give the room a sophisticated appeal.  All great baby boy nursery ideas.

Carter looks comfy and right at home on his Navy Buffalo Plaid Changing Pad Cover!  The honey colored dresser is a vintage piece gifted by a family member.  The round mirror and wooden bead garland bring a rustic feel to this playful space.

Carter’s nursery creates a room that is both moody and cool, we think will easily transition in to a big boy room.  Such a cozy and chic place where they can enjoy hours of sleep, play and more.

Baby Girl Farmhouse Nursery for Penelope

Today we are excited to share the sweetest baby girl nursery sent to us by Jessica Waters of J Miles Designs!  Jessica’s dream of a pink farmhouse nursery, that was both cozy and not too bright, becomes a stunning space for her new baby.

After trying for 5 years to have a child, baby Penelope arrived!  Jessica’s 3rd IVF treatment was successful, and as you can imagine she was over the moon about the birth of her first baby!

The farmhouse trend for baby’s rooms is still going strong, as farmhouse nurseries are the rage, and so much fun for a baby girl!  Shiplap walls, wooden elements, rustic touches and chandelier are necessities if you are planning a farmhouse styled nursery for your baby girl.  To make the nursery feel special for Penelope, Jessica fell in love with the name sign above the crib from Creating Happiness.  A name sign is a great way to personalize your baby’s room.  The eye-catching wood beaded chandelier is the perfect choice for the room, as it adds warmth and texture. A darling play tent next to the crib gives an enchanting look, and a touch of greenery adds color.  Including a tent in the nursery adds to the ambiance of the room, and provides a fun spot for Penelope to play!

Neutral colors in the room create warmth and coziness.  The off white furniture sets the stage for a timeless look and the vintage style has a luxurious look and feel.  To keep with neutral tones, Jessica chose our soft cream crib sheet and custom ruffle crib skirt made of our washed flax linen fabric for Penelope’s crib bedding.  Our washed linen fabrics, available in a variety of colors, create elegant and sophisticated crib bedding.

The neutral toned mirror over the dresser has a unique shape and adds a rustic feel to the room.  Corner wooden shelves are perfect for display of keepsakes and photos.  Dark hardwood plank flooring is the ideal contrast to the white shiplap walls.

Subtle touches of pink accents, including the pom pom trim nursery curtains and area rug, are reminders that this room is for a baby girl!  The sweet unicorn rocker, baskets and wood accent table all add personality to the room.  A large glider is elegant, comfy and a delightful spot for feedings and reading.  The blown up image of baby Penelope that adorns the wall can’t help but put a big smile on your face!

A Sweet Blush Nursery for Baby Cameron

Allison Jenks of the Pink Lou Lou Blog wanted a classic, serene, feminine nursery space for her baby girl.  We think she accomplished that and more.  We are in love with baby Cameron’s light and airy blush nursery!  The soft color palette gives this beautiful nursery a dreamy look.
Soft shades of pink and off white set the stage for a glamorous nursery for a baby girl!  The color palette for the room is creamy whites and blush tones.  The gold accents add warmth and sophistication to the room.  Allison chose our popular MacKenlee Faire Blush Pink Nursery Bedding Collection which features a luxurious washed white linen ruffle crib skirt and 100% premium cotton soft pink crib sheet.

A Rose Garden Nursery for Baby Ellis!

Today we are sharing the sweetest nursery designed for baby Ellis by her mom Ainsley Corley!  This pink floral nursery is a delightful twist on farmhouse style.  From the shiplap walls to the comfy rocker, Ainsley created a stunning haven for her new baby girl!

Ainsley chose our pink floral crib sheet from our Rose Garden Crib Collection, which is colorful and 100% soft muslin fabric.  Paired with a white crib skirt, the bedding is simple and sweet.  Floral crib bedding is still a top selling style for baby girl nurseries and can create a fresh and feminine nursery.  The name sign is a playful addition to the nursery!  Ainsley added moss to the name sign she purchased from Etsy.  Such a clever idea and pulls out the green color in the crib sheet.  The shiplap accent wall is an amazing backdrop for this incredible nursery!

The floral wall art accents and coordinates perfectly with our rose patterned crib sheet.  The darling footstool gives off a boho feel, and is a great place to hold up tired feet!  Ivory rocking chair looks so comfy, it would make anyone want to curl up in it and relax.  We are sure there will be hours of cuddling baby Ellis in this cozy rocker!

The gold accents in the nursery are fun and fresh!  The gold wall lights, curtain rod, mirror and accent table give a modern twist to the room.

The simple but very functional bookshelf is from Target and accommodates keepsakes, decor items and nursery necessities.

A charming pink dresser doubles as a changing station.  Ainsley refinished the antique dresser with chalk paint in color Tea Rose.  Covering the changing pad is our vibrant Rose Garden Changing Pad Cover, which coordinates with the Rose Garden crib sheet.  Round gold accent mirror is from Target and faux fiddle leaf plant were purchased from Homegoods.

A Neutral Nursery for Paxon

We immediately fell in love with this sweet and simple nursery designed by Brittney Horton for her soon to be third child, a boy, Paxton Horton!  The soft gray, blue and white tones give a calm and relaxing feel to this adorable nursery, and inspiration for neutral nursery ideas.  We think Brittney nailed it, with this serene baby boy nursery!
After having two girls, Brittney was expecting a baby boy, and was excited to design his nursery!  The sweet baby rhino artwork was the inspiration for the room.  Brittney coordinated the colors of the room with this adorable print from Paper Llamas.  Although the nursery is not “jungle themed”, the rhino print is just enough to add a little wildness to the room!

The white crib pops on the gray paneled wall, which adds a bit of sophistication.  Gold and soft blue elements add an element of color as well.

For her third and last child, Brittney wanted Paxon’s room to have a “baby” feel, and not look too grown up.  For the baby bedding, Brittney chose our Gray Star Crib Sheet and Solid White Crib Skirt.  The star printed crib sheet, baby mobile and dark wood mid-century dresser combine to give the room a sweet, yet masculine feel.

The board and batten wall was installed by Brittney’s husband.  After debating whether to put wallpaper or the board and batten, Brittney was glad she decided on the latter.  The wall was a labor of love for her husband, and also added to the transitional style Brittney loves.  The gray paint from Sherwin Williams (Latitude) pulls the room together, and gives a soothing feel to the room.

Little touches of blue remind you that the nursery is for a baby boy!  The soft blue changing pad coverfeatures a fun swiss cross pattern.  The stunning wood dresser and gray glider add to the mid-century ambiance of the room.  Touches of gold in the floor lamp, mirror and framed print add a special touch.

Let us know what you think of this sweet gender neutral nursery!  With two big sisters to take good care of him, baby Paxton is sure to get lots of love!  Thank you for sharing this adorable room with us, Brittney!
