Navy and Green Nursery

When we found out we were expecting our second son, I immediately started brainstorming. Out of necessity, the nursery would be a shared space with our guest bedroom, so I knew I wanted a color scheme that would work well for both areas. We chose a neutral paint color and went with navy and pink for the guest room part and navy and green for the nursery area. The whole room was done on a major budget, so many of the items, including the pennant banner, striped accent wall, throw pillow, and Jesus Loves Me print, are DIY projects. One of my favorite pieces is the brothers print from Nella Designs, which still hangs in our sons’ shared room today. (This is our son’s nursery from May 2012.)  We are now expecting our third child, a little girl, in November! I’m currently working on her nursery and enjoying being able to break out the pinks, purples, and florals!!
