In the Bengali culture, some believe that its bad luck to buy things for the baby before its born. So I had to start on this nursery project after the little miss Elina's arrival. As a first time mother little did I know that it was going to be next to impossible to get anything done with a new born around! After five months of painting walls, redoing the closets, picking out furniture and accessories, the baby room was complete! It was priceless looking at a completed baby room that took a lot of personalities to bring together. I wanted her nursery to be a peaceful place, designed for ease of use and comfort. Every little accessory had a personal meaning to me-- from the majestic swan , to the wonder woman and the personalized little wall arts.
