Tania's Design Studio

Tania is a graphic designer and party stylist and the founder of Tania's Design Studio, a shop filled with fresh and fun party inspiration. After deciding to leave her teaching career in 2010, she kept busy at home with her three boys and her many hobbies, one of which was creating birthday invitations for her kiddos. A short while later she opened up her Etsy shop selling digital invitations and party packages and this was where her journey of mompreneurship began!

Having had three boys, Tania's party mind is pulled toward the rugged, but still loves all things girly, glitter and sparkle always make her smile! She loves getting her hands dirty in the garden, traveling with her boys and singing out loud in the car...little ones don't judge her singing ability or lack there of :)

Gone Fishing Birthday Party

My son Karlo is all about the outdoors, so he was all ready to cast off and have some ‘reel’ fun with his Gone Fishin’ 5th birthday party!
The main party table was styled around the printable party package I designed especially for my son’s birthday. I searched all over town to find fishing items to add a little bit of rustic to the cute printables. Lots of wood grain, burlap and natural looking grasses along with the fun pops of color made this themed table fun and festive!
I like to design cake centerpieces that can help a mom transform an inexpensive homemade cake into something special and this gone fishing cake turned out just as I had imagined. I frosted the cake with the petal design technique to resemble waves. Then using the printables, I strung a line of colored fish on bakers twine and bamboo sticks and lastly, the gone fishing inspired sign let everyone know my birthday boy’s age!
The party bait shop was stocked full of edible treats like the reels and worms. The reels where created using two chocolate covered cookies and sandwiched a large marshmallow. My husband was clever to have me add the mini marshmallows for further detail which really made them look reels!

Back to School Party

Back to School…this phrase has been a constant for me for most of my life. Many may not know, but I was an elementary school teacher. When I created this party package, I was inspired by bright bold colors and cute craft projects. This theme is young at heart, but it can still please an adult eye with its clean graphic patterns. It is the ‘I heart School’ Back to school pack, and pardon my pun but it is ‘chalk’ full of fun ideas!

Vintage Lace Cowgirl Birthday Party

With having three boys, I am always ready to design and style a birthday party for a girly girl. This gorgeous cowgirl birthday party was no exception :) A homemade rosette cake, baby’s breath, burlap, lace and a whole lotta other pretty details came together to make this sweet southern inspired party a success!

Little Mister Birthday Party

I heart Mustaches! That said, this Little Mister Birthday Party was so much fun to plan and style. A very adorable theme that amused the adults as much as the kiddos!
SWEETS TABLE
The bold graphic of the black and white stripe set the tone for this manly sweets table. I baked and decorated the petal cake that had surprise colors inside! I used the printable mustache and birthday banner to complete the cake decoration.
Mustaches made their way onto each treat making them both humorous and sweet! Guests were invited to ‘wet your whisle’ with some cola and enjoy a chocolate mustache that doubled as a photo prop.
PHOTO BOOTH
The photo booth was purchased at IKEA and was just the perfect size for our little guests! They really enjoyed taking pictures with the photo props and spent the whole afternoon doing what they do best, being silly!
