Suiter Pierce Currin

A Pink and Angelic Nursery

When we found out we were having a little girl I just knew I wanted to have pink in the room.  My husband is a naval officer so we are currently renting our house.  That being said we debated about painting the room.  We ultimately decided that we wanted to make the room as special as possible for our little girl.
I knew I wanted to have a pink and gold theme, but I wanted it to be tasteful and fancy.  My mom painted some paintings of angels to go in the room and we just knew that we would base the theme around that. The picture above the crib is actually a picture of her two godmothers.  We love knowing they are watching over her while she sleeps!
I used a mix of old and new.  We refinished the dresser and reused some elements from our life.  I love the added touches like the beatrix potter figurines from my nursery when I was a little girl to the debutante stool I used when I made my debut in 2009 at the Terpsichorean Debutante Ball.
We had a blast decorating this room, and I am happy to share with you!
